"Entrepreneur in a Week" Exchange
Six young people from Terceira and one group leader, aged between 18 and 25, participated in a youth exchange in Hungary between 2 and 10 April under the “Erasmus+” programme, which focused on the theme of entrepreneurship.
The Portuguese group was selected by AJITER, a Portuguese sending organisation for yet another opportunity made possible and financed by the European mobility and learning programme “Erasmus+”. It was made up of Adriana Pires, Sandra Santos, Samuel Lemos, Rodrigo Gomes, Diogo Ramos, Carlos Raulino and Flávio Nunes.
In total, the initiative brought together 35 participants from 5 European countries, namely Poland, Belgium, Moldova, Hungary and Portugal.
This exchange aimed to develop the participants' interpersonal skills through non-formal learning methods, especially in relation to setting up a business.
Since 2012, AJITER – Terceira Island Youth Association has been very committed to promoting the Erasmus+ programme on Terceira Island and in the Azores in general, providing young people with this type of mobility experience with learning objectives.
In addition, AJITER is also part of the European Network “EURODESK”, providing information and opportunities for young people in these areas at its facilities. As it has done so far, with over 20 years of work for young people, it will continue to develop these efforts.
